Allahabad, India On the banks of sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati January 12 - February 16, 2019

A month-long event bringing together powerful spiritual leaders, devoted pilgrims, and everyday people, Kumbh Mela is the largest spiritual gathering in the world. Holding the highly revered title of Jagadguru, Her Holiness Sai Maa has the honor of hosting a camp, called a shivir, that will serve thousands of pilgrims free meals every day, as well as provide a place for students from around the world to come and stay—immersed in the spiritual atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela. Remote Participation in the Kumbh Mela 2019

Be part of the Kumbh Mela wherever you are in the world!

Be an active part of this immense vortex of energy where over 100 million people are expected to gather to focus on God for over a month. Bring the supercharged energies of the Kumbh Mela into your life, home, and energy field by engaging with the activities at Her Holiness Sai Maa’s camp.

During the Kumbh Mela remote participation, you will:

  • Participate in a live weekly webinar, a window into the Kumbh, with members of the Order of Sai Maa Brahmacharya. Enjoy a blast of Shakti (energy), guided meditations, live updates, and more.
  • Have your name read during a Yagya so that you receive the energetic blessings from this sacred fire ceremony taking place at Sai Maa’s camp—where Maa will be physically working with the energy of the ceremony.
  • Be infused with the Divine Mother. 1000 names of Sri Lalita will be chanted during a Lalita Homa ceremony, activating a multitude of divine mother qualities, including beauty, playfulness, joy, and success to empower your life.
  • Be part of an Abhishek—a ceremony activating the cosmic consciousness of pure space known as Shiva. Maa has spoken of working with Shiva as being ideal when one wishes to progress quickly in one’s spiritual path. The ceremony includes mantras and offerings to Shiva which dissolves negative influences and awakens the power and stillness of Shiva.
  • Receive the blessings from Sai Maa as Maa uses these Yagyas and Abhishek for your deep karmic cleansing and the awakening of humanity.
  • Be immersed in the supreme energies of the Kumbh Mela. Maa has shared that the energies of this Kumbh Mela will be very heart-focused, with compassion and tenderness very active.

There will be six participants per room, same gender. Men and women sleep in separate tents, including couples.

There are western style toilets and heated water for showers (the vast majority of the time, with occasional lapses to reheat). Laundry service is available with variable days and turnaround times..

How are wellness needs met within Sai Maa’s camp? There will be a wellness area in the camp with two wellness treatment rooms and a team dedicated to the participant’s wellness. An Indian doctor will be available as needed, and during some weeks of the Kumbh Mela, western medical doctors from the Sai Maa community will be available. Western medicine and Alternative medicine will be included.

How may I best prepare for optimum wellness during the Kumbh Mela? After registering, we will provide more information on how to stay healthy when in India, as well as ways to boost your immune system prior to attending. It will be foggy and smoky, so persons with breathing problems will need to take extra precaution.

What is provided for transportation? Your transportation will be provided by bus from the moment you arrive at the Varanasi airport through your return to the Varanasi airport at the end of the tour.

What type of clothing and footwear should I bring? You will receive a list of suggested items to bring after you register for the Kumbh Mela. In India, Sai Maa’s students wear white Indian-style clothing, which will be available for pre-order or for purchase onsite at the camp. Due to significant fluctuations in temperature (warm in the day, cold at night), several layers for clothing are recommended.

Do I need a visa to go to India? Yes, you need a visa. Upon registration for the Kumbh Mela tour, you will receive the details to put on your India visa application.

How can I communicate by phone during my travels in India and will there be a contact number? You will be provided an emergency contact number to give to your family or friends. You can add an international plan to your cell phone if you need to be in communication. Please note, we recommend that you fully “unplug” from communications during this unique spiritual experience for you to create maximum value for yourself.

Do people in India speak English or French? Many people in India speak English. People in India rarely speak French. In either case, you will be traveling with our group and well taken care of.
