A month-long event bringing together powerful spiritual leaders, devoted pilgrims, and everyday people, Kumbh Mela is the largest spiritual gathering in the world. Pilgrims travel from across India to bathe in a sacred river at specific times of astrological alignment said to bestow the nectar of spiritual enlightenment and immortality.
Holding the highly revered title of Jagadguru, Her Holiness Sai Maa has the honor of hosting a camp, called a shivir, that will serve thousands of pilgrims free meals every day, as well as provide a place for students from around the world to come and stay—immersed in the spiritual atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela.
